    Day Schools

AGBU has established private primary and secondary schools across the globe to infuse Armenian culture and language learning with mainstream accredited subject curricula. This offers a convenient way for students to excel academically while reinforcing their Armenian identity and values.

Our schools aim to challenge and support students throughout their academic journey, encouraging young learners to become independent thinkers and problem solvers who are aware of their Armenian heritage and productive and active global citizens. Many of our learning institutions integrate technology into classroom settings and work with our AGBU Armenian Virtual College to connect with other communities and international teachers.

AGBU High Schools organize class trips to Armenia for students to explore the homeland and solidify bonds to the Armenian nation, its rich history and culture.

    Weekend Programs

For many, a once-a-week supplemental Armenian experience offers more flexibility in time plus the psycho-social benefits of in-person group learning. Throughout the world, these weekly classes offer language, song and dance as well as instruction in chess, art, photography and more.

Learning varies from the traditional classroom set up to experiential learning programs where students can explore Armenian conversation and history through project-based activities.

    Recognitions and Achievements

Many AGBU schools are recognized by their wider communities and school districts for high standards of excellence across various measures, including innovations that serve as models in the broader education space. In 2021, the AGBU Alex and Marie Manoogian School in Michigan was selected as one of US News and World Reports Best High Schools in America, and in Lebanon, all seniors passed the Lebanese baccalaureate with excellent results.
