As always, the evening’s festivities were accompanied with music and dances, generous donations and a raffle. All the proceeds from the evening went to new projects for the scout to allow them to carry out new and interested activities and further the cause of the scout movement. The AGBU Yerevan Scout Movement was established in 2008. Since then it has seen a significant influx of new members resulting in hundreds of scouts of different ages now taking part in scout events and camps. The AGBU Yerevan Scouts often organize various events, visits and hikes, are known for their knowledge and discipline, with the readiness to help each other, as well as with their active participation in various public initiatives. The most exciting event of the scout’s calendar is the “Antranik” Scout Camp in Armenia’s Lori region, which brings together hundreds of AGBU scouts from around the world every year.
