On October 21, 3000 participants from 35 countries participated in Yerevan Marathon, overcoming the distance from 1 to 42,2km. The winners were awarded with monetary rewards. Ara Khatchadourian, who had left Marseille by “Run for peace” in April of this year and, running for 107 days, reached Yerevan, encouraged and inspired the participants of the marathon.
