"THE COLOR OF POMEGRANATES"

AGBU Armenia and National Cinema Center of Armenia-Հայաստանի ազգային կինոկենտրոն cordially invite you to the screening of the RESTORED version of Sergei Parajanov's "THE COLOR OF POMEGRANATES" (1969).

Daniel Bird from UK, who has been involved in the restoration of "The Color of Pomegranates" will present the movie.

The film was restored by the Martin Scorsese Film Foundation and was out on Blu Ray in UK in February 2018. Another Blu Ray edition will be out in April 2018 by the famous Criterion Collection.

The film will be screened in Armenian with English subtitles.
Duration - 79 min.

NOTES ON FILM RESTORATION

Armenian General Benevolent Union (AGBU), AFG Film Club and "Friend of Walerian Borowszyk" association present Daniel Bird's "Notes on Film Restoration" talk.

Among many other films, Daniel has also worked on the restoration of Sergei Parajanov's "The Color of Pomegranates" (1969), which is out on Blu Ray and which we're going to screen as part of this collaboration with Daniel.
