AS PART OF AGBU 110 CELEBRATION WEEK, AGBU ARMENIA HOSTED AGBUTALKS WITH PRIME MINISTER KAREN KARAPETYAN ON ARMENIA’S LONG-TERM SOCIAL AND ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT (VIDEO MATERIAL)

As part of AGBU 110 celebration week, on December 3, 2016, AGBU Armenia hosted AGBUtalks - a live discussion with RA Prime Minister Karen Karapetyan covering his vision for Armenia’s long-term social and economic development. Prior to the meeting, Prime Minister Karapetyan visited AGBU Armenia Headquarters and toured the offices of AGBU Armenia, IDEA Foundation, Luys Foundation, and Impact Hub Yerevan. He got acquainted with current and upcoming programs of the organizations, welcomed new initiatives and wished them good luck.

AGBUtalkswith Prime Minister Karen Karapetyan “Reshaping Armenia and Engaging the Diaspora through Unity and Shared Responsibility” intended to open a channel for a constructive conversation, so that we - in Armenia, Artsakh, and the Diaspora - may set, implement, and evaluate our objectives together, bearing in mind our shared responsibility.

The discussion with Karen Karapetyan began with a talk by the Prime Minister, followed by an open question and answer session with the invited audience and moderated questions - live twitted and posted on social media with #AGBUtalks110 hashtag.

To one of the Facebook user’s question “How the Prime Minister sees Armenia after 20 years,” Karen Karapetyan answered: “Independent, safe, just and intellectual”.

Various sectors were addressed, including the economic, legal, social, scientific, educational, and cultural fields.

The talk was moderated by a prominent journalist and TV reporter Mark Grigoryan.
