This year too the graduating students of the AGBU Marie Manoogian School of Buenos Aires visited Armenia. This traditional trip is made possible through voluntary work and a number of fundraising events organized by the students and their parents at the AGBU Center in Buenos Aires throughout the year. 34 students and 3 mentors spent unforgettable days in Armenia from July 25 to August 7 combining the pleasant and the useful. The group is supervised by Rosita Yousoufian, Head of the Armenian language department of the School, Juan Balian, member of the AGBU Argentine, and Miguel Akajan, AGBU sports manager.

The students visited Sardarapat, Etchmiadzin, Garni and Geghard, Khor Virap, Noravank, Sisian, Tatev Monastery, Khndzoresk, Sevan, Dilijan, Haghartsin, Vanadzor, Haghpat, Sanahin, Gyumri, Marmashen, as well as ascended Mount Aragats. Besides the sightseeing trips the students also participated in a tree-planting event.

Taking the chance the Marie Manoogian School students visited the AGBU Armenian Representation meeting the staff and getting acquainted with the AGBU activities in Armenia. The visit to the AGBU Armenian Representation was also memorable because of the meeting of the two AGBU youth groups - the students of Marie Manoogian School and the AGBU Scouts from Beirut and Iraq, who had arrived in Armenia for the second round of AGBU Camp Antranik in the village of Lermontovo, Lori region. The two groups spent the whole afternoon together sharing their thoughts and impressions, communicating and having lunch.
