AGBU YEREVAN SUMMER INTERNSHIP PROGRAM 2017
As part of the AGBU Yerevan Summer Internship Program28 students from Syria, Turkey, the UK, and the US spent six unforgettable weeks in Armenia interning at the premier institutions and organizations of the country. This was a period of professional enrichment, exchange of experience and networking, seasoned with fun and adventures. See the photos here.

AGBU MUSICAL ARMENIA PROGRAM 2017: GALA  CONCERT
After 3-weeks of master classes, lectures and rehearsals, AGBU Musical Armenia Program 2017  culminated with a final gala concert, a true celebration for the MAP participants, their professors, and music lovers. We're starting preparations for the Musical Armenia Program 2018! See the photos here.
“DISCOVER ARMENIA”: THE SECRET OF BEING ARMENIAN AND A HUMAN
AGBU DISCOVER ARMENIA PROGRAM 2017  
In its 14th year of implementation, AGBU Discover Armenia Program hit a new record of 52 host participants from 10 different countries. The Program also marked the 10th year of its successful partnership with the Fuller Center for Housing Armenia.

ANTRANIK SCOUT CAMP CELEBRATES 10TH ANNIVERSARY  
AGBU’s Antranik Scout Camp in the Lori region continues to be a hub for AGBU’s scouting activities. In its 10th season, the camp hosted more than 200 AGBU scouts from Argentina, Armenia, Iraq, Lebanon, Syria, Uruguay, and the USA, who came to explore Armenia’s beautiful nature and landmarks, learn scoutcraft, and form friendships with other youth. Read more here.
POUR ARMÉNIE, TERRE DE VIE
“Arménie, Terre de Vie” project was conceived in 2011. Young Armenians participating in the initiative come together once in two years to carry out a social project in their home country. Today “Arménie, Terre de Vie” program has expanded to include also foreigners for many of whom Armenia feels like a second homeland.

We Want Europe in Artsakh: Press Conference at AGBU Armenia
WE WANT EUROPE IN ARTSAKH
AGBU Armenia hosted a press briefing to present AGBU Europe’s campaign for the European Union to engage in Artsakh. The speakers - Artsakh Ombudsman Ruben Melikyan, AGBU Armenia Executive Director Talar Kazanjian, AGBU Europe Director Nicolas Tavitian and Coordinator of the Federation of Armenian Organizations in Belgium Shahnur Minasyan - presented the goals of the campaign.

General Catalogue of Armenian Manuscripts, vol. 9, published through AGBU's sponsorship
ARMENIAN MANUSCRIPTS CATALOGUE PUBLISHED THROUGH AGBU'S SPONSORSHIP  
The Mesrop Mashtots Institute of Ancient Manuscripts (Matenadaran) published volume IX of The General Catalogue of Armenian Manuscripts of the Mashtots Matenadaran. AGBU sponsored the publication of this volume, as part of its mission to preserve and promote Armenian heritage and culture. Read more here.

AGBU'S MARIE MANOOGIAN SCHOOL STUDENTS IN ARMENIA
Gaduate students of AGBU Marie Manoogian School in Buenos Aires visited AGBU Armenia HQ. They toured  the building, got acquainted with AGBU Armenia's ongoing projects, youth program and cultural initiatives.

Brazilian-Armenian Gaspar Gasparian's "Distant Fragments" exhibition at AGBU Armenia
GASPAR GASPARIAN: DISTANT FRAGMENTS | PHOTO EXHIBITION
Distant Fragments, a retrospective of the modernist Brazilian photographer Gaspar Gasparian (1899–1966) was exhibited at AGBU Armenia in the context of STANDART Triennial of Contemporary Art. See the opening event photos here. 
AGBU Armenia hosts "A Handful of Kessab Folk Songs"
"A HANDFUL OF KESSAB FOLK SONGS"  
AGBU Armenia hosted an evening called “A Handful of Kessab Folk Songs”, presented by Khatchig Khatchadourian, Arax Mahdessian, and Hagop Tcholakian. Arax Mahdessian performed folk songs from the collection of Hagop Tcholakian’s “Kessab: Ethnography & Folklore” book. Tcholakian also talked about the songs and presented their meaning and rituals during which the songs were performed.

GOLDEN APRICOT - 2017 
AGBU Armenia hosted a series of Master Classes with prominent filmmakers and movie critics, including Boris Khlebnikov, Ildiko Enyedi, Ciro Guerra, Tom McSorley and Roger Koza, as part of the 14th Golden Apricot International Film Festival.

EURASIADOC
Docmonde's EurasiaDoc program has been organizing documentary scriptwriting residencies and co-production meetings since 2011. This year AGBU Armenia hosted the EurasiaDoc meetings between the trainers and the authors from Armenia, Georgia and Turkey.

VAHAN ARTSRUNI PRESENTED HIS "MASHTOTS-KOMITAS" PROJECT
Singer and songwriter Vahan Artsruni presented his "Mashtots-Komitas" project , which is part of a new concert series in Armenia.

After a  lasting international tour, trumpet player Yervand Margaryan's jazz quartet presented a beautiful jazz evening at AGBU Armenia. Here are some photos of the event.

OVER 400 YOUNG PROFESSIONALS ATTENDED AGBU FOCUS 2017 IN BEIRUT
Young professionals boarded flights from as far as Australia, Brazil, Thailand and beyond to participate in AGBU FOCUS 2017 in Beirut from August 2 to 6.  Following the tradition established sixteen years ago, over 400 guests came together to expand their networks through meaningful exchange while discovering the cosmopolitan Lebanese capital and attending an unparalleled set of cultural and social events.
