The American University of Armenia (AUA) continues to offer extraordinary opportunities in higher education with Master's degrees in Business Management, Computer Science, Conservation and Engineering, Environmental Science, Law, Political Science and Inter-national Affairs, and Public Health. AUA now boasts an alumni network of some 1,850 graduates who are leaders in their fields throughout Armenia. With computer and English-language skills, plus extensive fieldwork experience, AUA graduates today are breaking new ground in a wide variety of fields. The university enrolls over 400 students annually in two-year study programs. In 2007 the American University of Armenia received accreditation from the Western Association of Schools and Colleges. The new Paramaz Avedisian building at AUA opened its doors in November 2008. In 2011 AUA will celebrate its 20th anniversary. AUA has recently launched the Study Abroad program for foreign and Diaspora-Armenian students.
