ARTSAKH HOSTED THE FINALS OF THE 8TH REPUBLICAN INTERSCHOOL CHESS CHAMPIONSHIP (VIDEO MATERIAL)

Having kept the chess-loving Nation and its schoolchildren in suspense for almost 8 months, the 8th Chess Interschool Tournament finally came to an end. From May 5-8, the finals of the 8th Republican Chess Tournament took place in Stepanakert. After an intense and relentless struggle, only 72 participants from initial 15,000 (18 teams, 4 participants in each) moved on to the final round. ALEX AND MARIE MANOOGIAN SCHOOL OF DETROIT VISITS ARMENIA

For 10 days in April, 26 students from the AGBU Detroit Alex and Marie Manoogian School visited Armenia to discover their Homeland.
